Star Night: Saturday September 12, 7:00-9:00 pm
Join us for an inspiring evening of sky gazing! Saturn with its rings, Jupiter with its four largest moons, star clusters, galaxies and double stars seen through the lens of a 7.1 inch Macksotof Casregrien Telescope.

Kidleidoscope Nature Story Hour:  Friday September 18, 25, 10:30-11:30am
Meets at the Big Red Barn Visitor Center for nature stories followed by a short nature walk and followed up with a craft activity. Runs rain or shine.  Children must be accompanied by adult.

Lunch Break Easy Stroll: Friday September 18, 25, 12:00-1:00
All ages are welcome to join in this easy walk to drink in the outdoors. Exposure to nature has been shown to reduce stress and boost well being. Enjoy the benefits as we take an easy walk to regenerate and explore. Bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy before or after the nature walk. Meet at Visitor Center.

Art at the River: Sunday Sept 6, 10:00-10:45
A healthy dose of Nature and Art! We will take a short walk through the sunny field to the Blackstone River. Relax a while and make a nature journal to write down your discoveries. Materials provided for nature notebook & sun print. All ages welcome. Meet at Visitor Center.

Woodlands and Waterways Walk: Mondays in September, 10:00-11:00
Start your week off naturally! This walk will take you through the less traveled paths through fields, woodlands, and along the Blackstone River or Canal. Check on the seasonal changes and signs of wildlife, and enjoy the scents and sounds of autumn! Meet at Visitor Center.

Hike to Lookout Rock: Sunday, September 27, 1:00-3:00.
Join this guided hike to learn the trails. This moderate hike through the forest leads to a rewarding view of the Blackstone River snaking through the valley. About 3 miles round trip. Binoculars, sturdy shoes, water and snack recommended for a short break at the lookout.
Meet at 366 East Hartford Ave Uxbridge, Rice City Pond parking area.

Sunset Stroll: Sunday, September 27 & Monday September 28, 5:30-6:45
Join an easy stroll along the historic Blackstone Canal’s Towpath. Unwind from your day and enjoy the magic hour of light and shadows at sunset. View wildlife, hear stories of the days of canal transportation, and enjoy all the scents and sounds that autumn has to offer! All ages welcome.
