The Mendon Parks Dept is pleased to announce the completion of another Eagle project, the repair and reconstruction of the guardrail surrounding the Memorial Park Basketball Courts by Mendon resident Matt O’Brien.

At their meeting on September 2nd, 2015 the Mendon Parks Commission unanimously voted to accept Matt O’Brien’s completed Eagle Scout project consisting of repairs and reconstruction of the guardrail surrounding the Memorial Park Basketball Courts. The commission would like to thank him for his time and effort to improve our parks facilities.  The Basketball Courts are constantly in use and this project will greatly improve the safety and appearance of the courts and the entrance to Memorial Park.  We would also like to congratulate Matt on completing one of the final steps towards becoming an Eagle Scout.
