A slow moving cold front will approach the area late tonight and move over the region on Wednesday. This front will bring widespread rainfall between 2-4 inches with locally higher amounts possible. The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch beginning tonight through Thursday morning.
Tropical Storm #Joaquin is brewing in the Atlantic and the east coast is in the predicted impact zone. The storm is expected to strengthen to a fairly strong tropical storm and has the potential to hit the area over the coming weekend, so keep an eye out for weather updates.
