Several surrounding towns have reported overnight car breaks over the last few weeks, including Mendon in the area of Blackstone St and Emerson.
These types of breaks are typically done by individuals walking through neighborhoods late at night looking for unlocked car doors with hopes to find valuables.
The Upton Police Department is reminding residents to take their valuables inside and lock their car doors.
