Have Dinner at BVT and Support Multiple Sclerosis/My One Wish – Thursday 3/21

dinnerMembers of the Friends of Rachel Club at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School have been hosting a series of dinners to raise funds for a variety of charitable organizations. This months dinner will take place on Thursday March 21, 2013 and funds raised will be donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society and My One Wish.

Dinner will be held in the student-run Three Seasons Restaurant located in the school at 65 Pleasant St., Upton. Seats are limited and reservations are required by contacting Dawn Dubois at 508-529-7758, extension 2143.

Corned Beef and Cabbage will be served Thursday night, all-you-can-eat, $12 for adults and $8 for children under the age of 12.

Members of the Friends of Rachel Club will serve all seatings, which are 5 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., or 6:30 p.m.

The Friends of Rachel Club is a group of students who were inspired by a Rachel’s Challenge presentation at the school during a previous school year. The program was named after Rachel Scott, was who killed in the Columbine High School massacre in 1999. Rachel believed one act of kindness could start a chain reaction The main goal of the club is to help create a permanent cultural change through continued acts of kindness and compassion throughout the school and community.
