Blackstone Valley Tech Explores New Programming

Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School to dismiss students early today

Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School has announced they will be dismissing the students at 12:30 today because of the incoming snow storm. The storm is predicted to hit sometime after 10 a.m. with heavy snow falling shortly after the storms arrival. Lots of activities this weekend around town. On Friday morning the Upton Board of Health will be hosting a Flu Clinic, get the shot not the flu. Nipmuc Regional HS  Juniors, Evan Offord, Tylor Costello, and Jack Gallagher  are hosting Shoot for a Cure - raising funds for cancer; a girls basketball tournament. Nipmuc Volleyball Team Donates “Dig Pink” Event Collection to BVT

On October 4, 2013 the Nipmuc girls volleyball varsity and jv teams held their annual "Dig Pink" event; raising funds for breast cancer awareness and research. Before the first serve was made each Nipmuc player handed a special lady a pink ball. The ball represented good health and was a reminder for women to schedule mammograms and perform monthly breast exams. The girls raised $317 at the event.
