Choes’s Quality Martial Arts of Milford is sponsoring an evening of fashion, fitness and fun to benefit Boston Children’s Hospital.
The evenings event will include a fashion show with models ages 19 to 53 wearing fitness, casual and evening wear. The emphasis is to promote it’s never too late to get in the best shape of your life; you can always look fabulous. There will also be a taekwondo demonstration, raffles and a performance.
When asked what inspired the fundraiser, Kim Audette of Choes’s Quality Martial Arts responded, “One of my clients has cancer and she amazes me with her spirit, commitment and discipline. She walks through the door right after a treatment and works out hard and never misses a session.” Kim went on to say “I also spent a year on and off as little girl in Children’s Hospital and spent a lot of time with children who had cancer, I never forgot those children.”
Kim is amazed with all the people who are dedicating their time and services for this fundraiser and feels “this is my purpose right now, to give back.”
