Children’s Consignment Event @ Blackstone Valley Tech – Sun April 21

IMG_0073Deja vu Couture is hosting a Children’s Consignment Event at Blackstone Valley Technical High School on Saturday April 20 and Sunday April 21.

Founded by Lisa and Kerry who are neighbors with a total of 5 children between them, their motto is reduce, reuse, recycle…rewear. In 2010 they had their first consignment sale, they hoped to have 20 consignors at the event; the event was a huge success which brought in 40 consignors.

Déjà vu Couture is a seasonal children’s consignment sale. Sale items include: kids’ clothing items (newborn through teen), toys, games, books, furniture, shoes, baby equipment, sports equipment and maternity clothing and stylish accessories for mom.  Consignors set their own prices and are paid 60-75% of the selling price.

Unsold items which the consignor chooses not to keep will be donated to a local charity on the consignor’s behalf.

The consignment events help consignors, shoppers, and the community.

This event is benefiting Blackstone Valley Technical High School’s National Honor Society. The National Honor Society members are volunteering for the event and Kerry and Lisa are asking shoppers to donate a $1 towards the National Honor Society. Lisa and Kerry will match all donations made at the register.

Sunday’s Event is at Blackstone Valley Tech, 90 Pleasant Street, Upton from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with many items 50% off.
