UPTON – Blackstone Valley Tech is pleased to share preliminary bus routes and schedules for the start of the 2015-2016 school year. Students and families are advised that bus routes are subject to change. Updated BVT bus routes can be found on the school website (www.valleytech.k12.ma.us/Page/1026). Students should be at their stops at least 10 minutes before scheduled pick-up. BVT Practical Nursing Program Hosts Annual Aging Well Assessment Day

Communities deny BVT Expansion

The proposed $2.9 million dollar expansion at Blackstone Valley Technical High School has now been defeated by five of the thirteen communities; Mendon, Uxbridge, Millbury, Douglas and Sutton. The proposed expansion plan would have established new programs in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Aerospace), Veterinary Assisting, and Legal and Protective Services. Skilled hands, strong minds, and nerves of steel were recently put to the test when nearly 175 Blackstone Valley Tech students competed in the SkillsUSA Massachusetts District V competition, winning a total of 67 medals and sweeping six categories.
