Mendon Summerfest – June 8

mendonsummerfest2013The second annual Summerfest at Memorial Park in Mendon will be held on Saturday, June 8 beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at midnight. This event is a fundraiser for Mendon Junior Baseball and Nipmuc Youth Softball. Proceeds will help fund improvements for Memorial Park in Mendon. It is sure to be a fun filled event for all. Backwards baseball (registration is closed) – An Electric game of running the wrong way on the base paths, subtracting runs from their score as they cross home plate, and much more….

Celebrity All-stars!! – Sam Horn and Scott Zolak

3v3 Basketball Games – But be sure to bring your sneakers, lace ’em up and get ready to play!

Raffle Baskets – Themed baskets range from “Movie Night Goodies”, “Lottery Ticket Tree”, “Back Yard Cookout”, and many more!!!

Silent Auction – Items range from sports memorabilia, tickets to various events, collectibles, and much more.

Live Music & DJ –Enjoy live music from local sensation, “Frayed Not”. Live music will go well into the night as well has DJ music throughout the day!

Home Run Derby -For kids & adults. You’ve seen it on TV.

Cornhole Tournament – This tournament will be an adults-only (21+)

Inflatable Obstacle Course – Inflatable obstacle courses for your kids to enjoy.

Dunk Tank – The classic dunk tank! This is a must for any festival.IMG_4306[1]

Caricatures –  Local artists on hand to transform your child into an amazing caricature!

Kid Games – Carnival-type games for our little ones.

Face Painting –Transform your child into spiderman, a princess, a butterfly or whatever you can imagine.

Vendor Booths – Browse and shop from many of our local vendors around our community.

Food & Drinks! – Plenty of food and drinks – burgers, hotdogs, clam cakes, sausages, french fries, Dell’s Lemonade, pizza, drinks, etc!

A beer tent will be open for adults – Beer for adults 12 p..m. to 11 p.m.
