The Upton Police are reporting that a new level 3 sex offender has registered in town.
Jeffrey Thatcher, 66, of 2 Glen Ave, Upton, is listed on the state Sex Offender Registry which defines a level 3 offender as, “at a high risk to reoffend and that the degree of dangerousness posed to the public is such that a substantial public safety interest is served by active community notification.”

01/24/2006, Indecent assault and batter on a child under 14 years of age.
