Happy 4th of July! It’s going to be a hot one!

Its going to be hot today, it’s only 10 a.m. and it’s already 86 at the Esplanade! The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory with temps expected to soar to the mid 90’s by early afternoon. As you head out to parades, bbq’s, or the beach please remember to use sunscreen and stay hydrated. The CDC recommends avoiding drinks with large amounts of sugar as they can lead to dehydration. Remember to check in on elderly neighbors and keep an eye on your pets. HAVE A GREAT 4th of JULY!
