Upton Police Department Arrest Grafton Man for Breaking and Entering

On Wednesday, September 25th, the Upton Police Department arrested Jacob R. Patulak, 20 years of age, of 145 Worcester Street, Grafton for the following offenses:

1. Breaking and Entering into dwelling house to commit a felony
2. Larceny over $250
3. Destruction of Property
4. Attempted Breaking and Entering

Putulak was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 140 at the Upton/Grafton town line at approximately 12:55PM. A female resident of Hickory Lane called 911 reporting a white male had broken into her home and was exiting the front door as she arrived home. The male suspect fled in a black pickup truck that was left idling in the driveway. The resident provided police with a description of the vehicle as well as the registration number.

Putulak is also charged with an attempted house break on Wildwood Avenue in which he attempted to gain access before the Hickory Lane break. Putulak was held overnight at Upton Police Headquarters and will be arraigned in Milford District Court on Thursday, September 26th.
