Nipmuc Regional High school will be performing Anne Frank & Me  on Friday, October 25th and 26th at 7:30 PM at Nipmuc Regional High School in the auditorium.  Tickets are available at the door.

The play was written by Cherie Bennett and Jeff Gottesfeld.  It is the story of a girl who gets thrust into the confusing and very eye-opening realities of life in the 1940’s.

The story follows a teenage girl named Nicole in the year 2013 who doubts the truth about the Holocaust and could care even less. However, Nicole is involved in a freak accident, and when she recovers, she wakes up in Nazi-occupied Paris in 1942. And to make matters even more difficult, her and her entire family are Jewish. Nicole must learn what it means to live in fear and adapt to a world that thrives on hate.  The story, while dealing with heavy elements, also has brief interludes of comedy as well. This play is not appropriate for children under 12.

Nipmuc is happy to have Mrs. Raymond and Mrs. Welch taking on the responsibility of being new directors this year. They have moved up from Miscoe Hill. This spring they will be working with Mrs. Tremblay on the spring musical.
