Nominations for the Hall of Fame’s first class were collected over the summer of 2013 and carefully considered by a committee of current and former athletic directors, coaches, administrators, alumni, and community members. With nearly two dozen worthy nominees, BVT Athletic Director Michele Denise said that selecting a final slate of inductees was no easy task.
“We are honored to recognize such an outstanding class of individuals and teams,” said Denise. “The first class of inductees is certainly setting the bar very high for the Valley Tech Athletic Hall of Fame.”
The first class induction ceremony and dinner will take place at 6:00 p.m. on November 29, 2013, at the Highfields Golf & Country Club of Grafton and will mark a major milestone in the school’s history.
“With the exponential growth of our athletic opportunities and our fiftieth year celebration, it is most fitting that we establish this Hall of Fame,” commented Superintendent-Director Dr. Michael Fitzpatrick.
