The Trees for Hope Committee is asking members of the community and businesses to donate decorated artificial Christmas trees for the Trees for Hope Festival. Tree donations from table top to full size have been donated in the past by businesses, scout groups, in memory of a loved one, for a certain cause or just because.
The Third Annual Trees for Hope Festival will be held at St. Gabriel’s Parish in Upton on Saturday, December 7 (9am-7pm) & Sunday, December 8 (9am-1pm). Trees will be on display for viewing by the public both days and then raffled off on the afternoon of Dec 8.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Oliva Fund for Cancer Care at Milford Regional Medical Center. The Oliva Fund for Cancer Care supports local patients and their families with cancer support groups, reflexology services in the Cancer Center, everyday living expenses of cancer patients, transportation, counseling, and more.
Full size or table top trees will gladly be accepted. For tree donation information and guidelines contact Debbie Neri at debbieneri@charter.net or Penny Bentley at 529-3813 or bentleyp@charter.net. “Like” Trees for Hope on Facebook!
