Here we go again. Snow and frigid temperatures in New England. Get out the shovels, fill up the snow blowers, and find your hand warmers as 4-8 inches of snow and wind chills of -26 degrees are coming our way.
The national weather service has issued a winter storm warning for our area. The warning is in effect from 1 p.m. on Tuesday continuing into Wednesday. Heavy snow is predicted with accumulations between 4-8 inches.
Snow covered roadways are expected to cause difficult driving conditions. Periods of heavy snow and wind gusts up to 40 mph will cause visibility of a mile or less.
Temperatures will be in the teens at the start of the storm and dip down to single digits overnight. The real feel temperature for Wednesday morning at 6 a.m. is predicted to be -26 degrees according to the accuweather hourly forecast.
