Here are the latest photos of Daisy, the baby Giraffe at Southwick’s Zoo. In the image above you can see Daisy’s cousin Molly peeking over the wall….this looks like it could be a Giraffe photobomb.
Daisy is doing well and will be introduced more with the other giraffes in the Spring when the zoo opens. Betsey Brewer of Southwick’s said, ” Right now we are still bottle feeding her and she is able to see the giraffes and the giraffes her.”
Daisy will be in the Giraffe enclosure with the other giraffes during the summer. Southwick’s offers a Giraffe Experience which allows guests to get up close and feed the Giraffes. Be sure to get to the zoo early as the available spots sell out quick. Daisy will be part of the experience but might not quite be tall enough to feed. She will be present though.
