Heard a great story on NPR back in the fall with the new CEO of Friendly’s, a local guy, born and raised in Mass who grew up eating Friendly’s. Loved his candidness about why Friendly’s was going through difficult times: Terrible service, dirty restaurants and a menu that was trying to be too many things for too many people, resulting in lower quality food. He vowed to bring back some of the original entrees , like fishamajigs and hot dogs.. Great story.. growing up in Mass myself, i could related ’cause I could relate. When my own kids were a bit younger they loved going to Friendly’s , I on the other hand hated going there. Looking forward to seeing the new and improved or should I say back to what it used to be Friendly’s.
