High winds are taking down trees around Upton. At approximately 12:30 today the Upton Police Department responded to a tree down on a student transport van on Mendon Street. The driver was the sole occupant and was not injured.
The Upton Police Department has also closed Fowler Street between Warren and Mechanic due to high winds taking down trees and wires.
