High winds continue to be a problem for Upton

Upton Fire responding to a brush fire near Eames Lane

At approximately 4 p.m. the Upton Police and Fire Department responded to an electrical wire which was down on Westboro Road which resulted in a small brush fire at Eames Lane. Westboro Road was closed while the Upton Fire and Police managed the situation.

Earlier today the Police Department responded to wires down on Fowler and a vehicle on Mendon Street which was struck by a tree.
