Upton Police report Mechanic Street fire under control

March 26, 2014  – Mechanic Street Fire Upton

The Upton Police Department is reporting the  Mechanic Street fire is under control. The Fire Department was able to contain the fire to the basement of the residence.

The Upton Fire Department was assisted at the scene by Grafton, Hopkinton and Hopedale FDs. Crews will remain on scene investigating. Check back for a more detailed story tomorrow. No injuries were reported at the time of this posting.
