On April 29, 2014 Shawn Craig, Republican candidate for State Representative and Iraq war veteran, reacted to the resignation of the Department of Children and Families Commissioner Olga Roche.
“We elect a Governor to make the tough decisions in the best interest of the people. The Governor should have fired Commissioner Roche months ago. By allowing her to resign shows that the Governor still is not accepting responsibility for the failure to protect the children,” said Craig.
“This is another example of failed accountability within our state government. The children of Massachusetts deserve better,” added Craig.
