Over 250 People Join David Muradian in Support As He Kicks-Off His Campaign for State Representative

GRAFTON– Recently, over 250 supporters joined David Muradian, Jr. as he officially announced his candidacy for State Representative at his kick-off event at the Grafton Inn. The standing room only crowd was excited and enthused to hear David speak, with several loud cheers throughout his speech.

Guest speakers included outgoing State Representative, and Assistant Minority Leader, George Peterson (R-Grafton), as well as Worcester County Sheriff Lew Evangelidis. Also in attendance showing their support were Representatives Matthew Beaton (R-Shrewsbury), Angelo D’Emilia (R-East Bridgewater), Susan Williams-Gifford (R-Wareham), Brad Hill (R-Ipswich), Steven Howitt (R-Seekonk), and Kevin Kuros (R-Uxbridge).

“The turnout was absolutely outstanding, and I am extremely grateful to all who attended,” stated David Muradian. “The showing of support is a sign that the constituents know who they trust with their vote moving forward, and I am going to continue to get out and earn the voter’s support. I thank the Representatives who came and stood by my side, as well as Representative George Peterson and Sheriff Lew Evangelidis, for their endorsements, and kind words.”

Muradian, who recently was endorsed by Representative George Peterson and Sheriff Lew Evangelidis, has served the constituents of the Ninth Worcester district while working in Representative Peterson’s Office for the last seven years as the Director of Local Affairs. Through his tenure there, he has worked side-by-side with Representative Peterson to advocate on behalf of the citizens of not only Grafton, Northbridge and Upton, but of the Commonwealth for a more open, transparent form of Government.

“David is an extremely hardworking individual, who is going to bring his years of experience working for the district to Beacon Hill. The support shown at the kickoff is a testament to his campaign, and his commitment to the district. I am delighted to stand with David, and proud to offer my full endorsement.”  

Dave is a member of the Grafton Republican Town Committee, Gun Owners’ Action League, and the Knights of Vartan, who proudly advocate for their Armenian heritage. He is also a Worcester County Reserve Deputy Sheriff, and he and his wife Jessica reside in Grafton.
