What to do around Upton this weekend

fishingderbyIt’s the Upton Police Departments annual fishing derby this Saturday. It’s going to be a beautiful weekend according to Upton Daily’s meteorologist Jeb Postle. Grab your pole and whatever other gear you use for fishing and have a great morning.  Bait, hotdogs, hamburgers, drinks, snacks, trophies, and prizes are provided free to all children, ages 1-15, who attend.

If fishing isn’t your thing then join in on the fun at the Do or Dye Color Run being held at Nipmuc Regional High School. It’s a 5k run where it’s more about having the time of your life getting doused in color than it is about how long it take you to finish.

Here’s a look at other events going on around Upton this weekend. If you would like to see your event featured email jenniferd@uptondaily.com
