Upton Police investigating breaks to vacant homes

uptonpoliceThe Upton Police Department is currently investigating two break-ins involving vacant homes in Upton.

  • Sometime between May 21st and June 9th forced entry was used to enter the rear of  a vacant home for sale in Upton; no items were taken according to Police Chief Bradley .
  •  Sometime between the period of May 25th and May 29th forced entry was used to enter the rear basement door of a vacant home for sale in Upton. According to Police Chief Bradley several sections of copper pipe were cut and removed through the basement.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
