Upton Weather: classic summer pattern

A series of cold fronts will move through the region late Tuesday into Wednesday and late in the day Wednesday into Thursday. Another threat of showers and storms are likely with the passage of these fronts.

A ridge of high pressure will build on the heels of the departing storm system beginning late on Thursday and lasting through Saturday. Expect sunny skies and less in the way of humidity.  A weak disturbance will move into the region during the day Sunday, with another chance of showers and storms.

Tuesday, July 8^th:  Patchy fog possible in the morning. Partly cloudy with a chance of showers and storms late in the afternoon.  A few storms may be severe. High temperature around 90F. Winds from the south-southwest at 10-15 mph. Chance of precip: 20%

Tuesday Night: mostly cloud with a chance of showers and storms in the evening and overnight. A few storms may be severe. Patchy fog possible by the morning. Low temperature around 70F. Winds from the south-southwest at 5-10 mph. Chance of precip: 40%

Wednesday, July 9^th:  Patchy fog possible in the morning. Partly cloudy with a chance of showers and storms in the afternoon and evening. High temperature around 86F . A few storms may be severe. Low temperature around 64F. Chance of precip: 30%

Thursday, July 10^th: Mostly sunny with a chance of showers and storms. High temperature around 80F. Low temperature around 59F. Chance of precip: 10%

Friday, July 11^th: Mostly sunny. High temperature around 83F. Low temperature around 58F.  Chance of precip: 0%

Saturday, July 12^th: Mostly sunny. Chance of showers and storms at night.  High temperature around 84F. Low temperature around 65F. 

Sunday, July 13^th: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and storms. High temperature around 85F. Low temperature around 63F.
