Last night (July 27) Myrtle the Turtle wandered off from her Mendon Street home. Her owner Carolyn said Myrtle was out for her nightly romp when she disappeared. “She usually stays in the yard but last night she took off,” Carolyn said.

Carolyn is asking residents of Upton keep an eye out for her Chinese Box Turtle. Myrtle was last seen near Mendon/Pleasant heading towards Main Street. If you happen to come across Myrtle please call Carolyn at 529-3340.

Myrtle is 7 inches and has a yellow neck.
