GRAFTON – Republican lawmakers in the House of Representatives hailing from Worcester County endorsed David Muradian for State Representative of the Ninth Worcester District, consisting of the towns of Grafton, Northbridge, and Upton. The endorsement is the latest in a growing list of lawmakers, local officials, and public safety personnel to support Mr. Muradian’s vision for the Ninth Worcester District and the Commonwealth.

“Having worked next door with Representative George Peterson over the years, I know firsthand how hard working David Muradian is for his district,” said Representative Matthew Beaton. “It is clear that David Muradian is the right man for the job, as he is the only candidate with any state legislative experience.”

“I am proud to endorse David’s campaign for State Representative,” said Representative Kim Ferguson. “David has the experience and skill-set necessary to represent the residents and businesses of the 9th Worcester District from day one. His vast knowledge of the towns of Grafton, Northbridge, and Upton, coupled with his solid understanding of state government will make him an invaluable resource on Beacon Hill and back in his district.”

“The endorsement of so many highly regarded area State Representatives is truly humbling,” stated David Muradian. “To see them show their support of who they feel is the best candidate for our district, a district that they work closely with and have an understanding of, shows their commitment to Worcester County.”

The Worcester County legislators endorsing David include: Representative Matt Beaton (R-Shrewsbury), Representative Peter Durant(R-Spencer), Representative Ryan Fattman (R-Webster), Representative Kim Ferguson (R-Holden), Representative Paul Frost (R-Auburn), Representative Sheila Harrington (R-Groton), and Representative Kevin Kuros (R-Uxbridge).

In addition to the endorsement of Republican lawmakers from Worcester County, David has also received the backing of Assistant Minority Leader George Peterson, Worcester County Sherriff Lew Evangelidis, Gun Owners’ Action League and the New England Police Benevolent Association, Inc., as well as Northbridge Selectman Dan Nolan and Grafton Selectman Bruce Spinney.

A lifelong resident of Central Massachusetts, Mr. Muradian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Worcester State University. David currently resides with his wife Jessica in Grafton, where he is active in the Republican Town Committee, and a member of the Gun Owner’s Action League. He is also a member of the Knights of Vartan, who proudly advocate for their Armenian heritage.

  1. And, I’m thankful to live in a reasonably progressive state were conservatives and tea party types can whine but do no real harm. Marty Green has my vote in November.

  2. The Fact that our existing Representatives want to keep things “the same” should be a REAL eye openner for us that have NOT be represented in our Best Interest! Massachusetts Gun Laws ALREADY restrict our Constitutional Rights! Common Core Education is ALREADY forced on our Teachers and children, This State has ALREADY agreed to receive, feed, clothe, and house ILLEGAL ALIENS while our existing residents struggle to provide the same for their OWN families and of course will be footing the bills for the freloaders as well. IT is TIME to STand Talll and say HELL NO to the Status Quo!
