Savers Bank, Always Improving

Savers Bank is proud to announce that two of their commercial lenders, Chris Wszolek and Darlene Mark, have recently graduated from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking. The bank has a strong commitment to continuing education that helps enhance their staff’s skill sets, furthering the benefit to their customers.

The ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking is known as the preeminent school for advanced studies in banking. Consisting of a three-year program, students participate in class lectures, complete several research papers, and participate in a bank simulation. This is a unique and worthwhile experience because it provides an opportunity for attendees to advance their knowledge of banking while meeting other bankers and regulators from all over the world.

When asked what it was like meeting individuals from the worldwide banking industry, Ms. Mark responded, “The connections that I have made have been invaluable. We were able to share successes and obstacles that we face within our industry, with other bankers, and learn from each other.” The broad ranging aspect of the program is an advantage for Savers Bank through the sharing of worldwide bank knowledge, as well as the invaluable leadership skills they have learned.

The completion of the Stonier banking program means that these two commercial lenders have enhanced their skills to more effectively recognize and make management decisions. In addition to the Stonier Diploma, each has also earned a Wharton Leadership Certificate.  Both plan to use what they’ve learned at Stonier to help Savers Bank continue to grow while remaining locally focused.

Savers Bank is committed to providing its customers with the best service and resources possible. Their commitment is shown through the action of putting Mr. Wszolek and Ms. Mark through one of the best banking graduate programs in the country.  To learn more about Saver’s Bank and their mission, visit their website at: http://www.saversbank.com
