As someone who once worked in the Massachusetts State Legislature as a legislative aide, I can certainly appreciate a state representative candidate with that experience. However, I believe the candidate who will make the best state representative is someone with a wide array of experience in local government, extensive community involvement and a local business leader who has the educational background to understand the numerous issues that will be deliberated throughout a legislative session. For these reasons, I am supporting Marty Green to represent Grafton as our elected official to the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
Marty has an impressive background with the right experience to serve in this important role. He has served his Northbridge community as a selectman. For more than ten years, he was the Economic and Executive Director for the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce. He started and operates his own business – Marty Green Properties. He has demonstrated his commitment of time as a volunteer to the Boy Scouts, the Whitin Community Center, the Uxbridge Rotary Club and St. Patrick’s Church. He also holds a Masters degree in Public Administration. Clearly, Marty Green has all of the qualifications needed to be a successful and influential state legislator. I believe he has the right experience and education to deal with the difficult issues facing us without needing to follow a party-line.
We are the only ones who can and should determine the next state representative. On November 4th, I hope you will join me in casting your vote for Marty Green, State Representative.

The residents of Grafton, Upton and northbridge deserve full-time representation. It is not a part time, halftime or a 3/4 time position. Marty Green thinks it is acceptable to run his business on a full-time basis while trying to serve the residents of Grafton, Upton & Northbridge as their state representative.
Can someone please tell Marty that the position he is campaigning for is not a part time job. As the saying goes, “It is impossible to serve two masters.”
I know that some of our democratic legislators that make up 82% of Beacon Hill view their elected office as a part time jobs and it is clear that Green has adopted that position as well but as overtaxed taxpayer I find that not only unacceptable but an insult to all tax payers at his position on this matter.
I would also like to point out that by electing Green there is a strong possibility of a “conflict of interest” will he vote for what is in the best interest of the residents of the district or will he vote for whats in the best interest of his business and personal financial gain. After all, he has decided to put his business needs above the needs of the people of the district he is running to represent
Green also likes to claim that he is a “pro business democrat” in reality he is actually a pro democrat that owns a business. According to his most recent mailing Green also claims to have bi-partisan experience, Really? I laughed when I saw that. I have had several political conversations with Green in the past and there is nothing bi-partisian about him.
In regard to political experience David Muradian has 8 years of local municipal experience as well as state level experience working in George Peterson office. Day one Muradian will be able to hit the ground running, Green will have to learn the ropes if and when he decides to break away from his business.
Im so glad you brought up Green’s time as the Economic and Executive Director of Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce for nine years. Has anybody even bother to investigate the financial state of the chamber during his tenure or the fact that the board of directors asked him to step down because he was in over his head?
