1 – Cultural Council (3 YEAR TERM x2 – 1 yr off)
2 – Development/Industrial Commission
1 – Disability Commission
2- Fire & EMS Advsory Committee
1- Historical Commission
2 – OPEB Trust Commissioners Trust
1- Mendon Upton Regional School Committee Member – until 2016
The procedure for filling the School Committee vacancy can be found under district agreement, Section I, (E): If a vacancy occurs among the elected members, the selectmen and the remaining committee members from the town concerned shall appoint a member to serve until the next annual town election, at which annual election a successor shall be elected to serve for the balance of the unexpired term, if any. The Board of Selectmen are currently entertaining nominations for a School Committee member to fill this vacancy which expires in 2016. Applications may be found here
