A fund has been set up for 17-year-old Jacob Westbury who sustained critical injuries as a result of the December 9 accident on Quaker Street in Northbridge at the Upton town line.
Jacob is a student at Blackstone Valley Technical Vocational High School who was on his way home from school when the accident happened. The Upton Fire Department used the jaws of life to extricate him from the car. Jacob was rushed to UMass hospital. He sustained severe head injuries and is currently in a coma.
Brandy Bonina of Upton, a family friend, set up the Fund Me account. She said, “He is a wonderful young man and is loved by many. Please help if you can.”
The funds will be used to help his family during this difficult time.
