Upton FD use Jaws of Life to rescue teen from car after Quaker Street accident

On Tuesday December 9, 2014 the Northbridge Police Department received multiple calls reporting a 2 car accident on Quaker Street by the Upton town line.

Upon officers arrival, Sgt Brian Patrinelli, observed a male party still in the rear seat of a 2001 Nissan Altima.   Upton Fire Department used the jaws of life to extricate the 17-year-old juvenile from the vehicle.   This juvenile was transported to Umass Hospital with critical injuries.

Drivers of both vehicles were 17-year-old juvenile males and were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Accident is still under investigation by the Northbridge Police Department and Central Mass Law Enforcement Counsel Accident Reconstruction.




  1. All involved parties are seniors at Blackstone Valley Tech, and the entire class of 2015 is worried about them and hoping for their safe and speedy recovery.
