Keurig lovers…. here is a hack for the 2.0 – for Keurig haters, a fun video for you

I love my Keurig.

The funniest thing about my love affair with Keurig is I only drink decaf, although I probably drink enough decaf that it adds up to one real cup of coffee.

The first Keurig I owned was cinnamon colored. Not only did it make a great cup of coffee, it looked fantastic on my counter. I had it for a few years before it wore out. Of course it needed to be replaced immediately. Now I own the same model but in stainless and black, not as fun as cinnamon, but still makes a great cup of coffee.

The other night my mom called and told me to “turn on QVC” because their special value of the day was Keurig 2.0. Mom loves QVC. Of course I turned it on and then proceeded to watch the entire presentation..it was Keurig 2.0.

In the 2.0 you can now make a carafe of coffee, which would be great for a household who all likes the same flavor and drinks it at the same time. Whose house is that?

I made my hubby and kids watch portions of the presentation with me by saying, “Come on, look at this one, it makes a carafe.” Boy, did they hate that.

Hubby wanted to know if I was “hinting” for Christmas. I said, “no, I already have a Keeurig.” I then told him how I can already make a carafe of coffee with mine, even though it’s not 2.0.  I just make a bunch of cups and poor them into a carafe and voila coffee in a carafe. Yes, I am that smart..LOL.

So after all the 2.0 hoopla hubby stumbled on this video yesterday and sent it to me. He said, “You’ll like this.”  I did.

Apparently the 2.0 Keurig is sensitive and demands only Keurig brand kcups. So I’m glad I’m not getting one for Christmas. Not to worry if Santa brings one your way, you can still enjoy non Keurig kcup brands there is a video with a hack for that.
