Please Consider Fostering Yogi

We need a foster home ASAP for Yogi, a sweet, dashing young spaniel-mix who’s had many sad experiences in his short life. This has made him very shy, but once he warms up to you, he’s very affectionate. He’s a fun-loving boy who loves to play. He’s great on a leash, knows several commands, and is progressing with house training. He’s looking for a kind, patient person who’ll give him the time to come out of his shell.

This resilient boy made the long journey from Puerto Rico to Hopkinton for a second chance at happiness, and is working hard to acclimate to his new surroundings. We urgently need to find a special person to welcome him into their home.

He loves going on long walks/hikes, and would thrive in an active home with no children. He’s lived with other dogs, and will do best with a female or easygoing male dog. Must love doggie kisses!

Please contact baypathjulie@gmail.com to consider helping out our sweet Yogi. Thank you!

About Baypath’s Foster Care Program

Baypath Humane Society is often in need of foster families to provide a temporary home for a dog or cat, particularly during the winter when there is limited space available at the shelter. Being a foster family is an extremely rewarding experience, giving an animal the greatest chance of success at having a happy future. Please visit www.baypathhumane.org/volunteer/foster/ or call 508-435-6938 to learn more about the special role that fostering plays in the life of a shelter dog or cat.
