Impacts: With Blizzard conditions and heavy snow expected late tonight through the day Tuesday, its likely that many businesses and schools will be closed tomorrow. Roads will be impassible, as snowfall rates well over 1” per hour are likely. The gusty winds tomorrow may provide a threat of some power outages across the area. Make sure you are prepared with supplies if this happens to you.
Even when the snow begins to lighten up Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, blowing and drifting snow will remain an issue. This may lead to additional delays or cancellations in schools and businesses on Wednesday.
Note: The greatest uncertainty with this storm is where the heavy snow bands set up. If the bands set up over the Grafton-Upton area, expect snow totals between 2 to 3 feet. If the heavy snow bands set up outside the area, snowfall totals between 1-2 feet are possible. If anyone has any weather related questions ,feel free to email me at jebril.postle@gmail.com.
