Mendon Parks – Yoga Classes (NEW!!)

FREE Yoga class on Tuesday April 7th from 7-8pm

Yoga classes will be held Tuesday nights starting April 14th  from 7-8 pm in the Miscoe Gym.  Classes will run for 9 weeks and the cost is $70 for the entire session.  More Info:  www.mendonma.gov/yoga

Take A Yoga Stance With Tai

A dynamic and balanced class that connects breath with movement in a flowing sequence of postures, our Vinyasa (or flow) yoga class creates a flowing meditation in movement along with restorative postures. This class will start slowly and will explore practices such as full body stretches, inversions, back bends and sitting isolation work. Breathing and meditation techniques, in addition to longer holds in a pose, will be integrated as the student progress. Modifications of alignment and variations of asanas (poses) are offered to accommodate each student to benefit a custom feel to every pose. Each posture has a positive effect on your health and I would like to share my knowledge and training.  Vinyasa is excellent for the student who seeks movement to help create a state of physical exertion and mental concentration leading to deep relaxation and a deep calm and collectiveness.
