The second annual Blackstone Valley Tech Class of 2017 Color Run will be held on Saturday, May 16, at 8:30 a.m. at the school’s 65 Pleasant Street campus in Upton. Last year’s participants included (left to right) BVT student Nichole Cella of Northbridge, Northbridge High student Bailey Gideon, BVT student Asmahan Oliva of Northbridge, BVT Superintendent-Director Dr. Michael Fitzpatrick, and BVT student Natasha Leveille of Upton.
Following the success of last year’s debut event, the Blackstone Valley Tech Class of 2017 will host its second annual Color Run fundraiser on Saturday, May 16, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the school’s 65 Pleasant Street campus in Upton.
This colorful 5K race will see hundreds of runners travel down the school’s cross-country course while being “painted” by packets of colored-powder playfully tossed by onlookers. With participants required to wear white clothing, the runners will be covered in the colors of the rainbow by the time they cross the finish line.
In addition to the paint-drenched 5K race, the event will also feature food, games, and fun for the entire family. Proceeds will benefit the Class of 2017’s prom and senior trip. For details, please contact:

The race costs $20 per runner and $15 for graduating high school seniors. Registration is available on the Valley Tech website: www.valleytech.k12.ma.us
