The Mendon Upton Regional Teachers Association is pleased to announce our endorsement of Christopher Burke for Mendon selectman. Chris Burke, who has always shown his commitment to the town of Mendon through volunteerism, has worked as a member and most recently, as Chairman of the Finance Committee. Chris Burke has collaborated with other town boards and the Regional School District through his work on the multi-board. This experience sets him apart. He supports public education, the Mendon Upton Regional School District’s strategic plan, and the campaign for a proposition 2 ½ override. As a selectman, he will be committed to finding creative ways to generate revenue on the town side so that the school district’s budget will be sustainable. We hope that all citizens who value public education and who have an interest in moving the Mendon Upton Regional School District forward will come out Tuesday to support Christopher Burke at the polls!
