The Upton Men’s Club (UMC) annual Fireworks Festival is scheduled for Saturday June 20, 2015. Last year the event brought in over 5000 people who enjoyed the shows, attractions, and of course an outstanding fireworks display.
The year’s events will take place from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. at Blackstone Valley Tech located on Pleasant Street in Upton. Rain date is June 21.
The Fireworks Display is funded 100% by donations.
The UMC suggests mailing in a donation with this form to receive an express entry event wristband.
The inflatable rides are a separate $10 wristband for all day, unlimited use.
“While mail-in and gate donations pay for the Fireworks Display, the funds raised at the Festival help the UMC fund above and beyond programs in the town of Upton that would not otherwise be possible, such as monthly dinners at the Senior Center, ‘Community Service’ scholarships for graduating students, school program assistance, food pantry support, and many other areas of need within our community,” said UMC members.
“We are thankful for the support of our town Selectmen, the assistance of the Upton Police and Fire Department personnel, the Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational and Mendon/Upton Regional Schools for the use of their facilities, and most importantly, we thank you, our generous residents, businesses, sponsors, and visitors for your continued donations that finance this wonderful community event,” UMC members said.
If you have any specific questions, contact Brad DiDio, Chairman of the Fireworks committee, by email (brad.didio@charter.net).

This is always a great town event and the weather Saturday will be great. Come early and avoid the 6 PM rush.
