Town of Upton asks residents to remove dated yard sale signs

Residents are reminded all yard/estate sale signage should be removed as soon as the sale is over. The Town of Upton also reminds residents signs should not be placed on public property without a sign placement permit obtained from the Selectmen’s Office, and signs should never be attached to street signs and telephone poles. Kiwanis Beach Courts to Re-Open on Thursday

The Town of Upton has announced the project to replace the surfaces of the tennis and basketball courts at Kiwanis Beach is nearly complete. Last week the courts were painted, but due to the inclement weather, they will not fully dry until Thursday, July 2nd.  At that time, the nets will be put up and they will be open for play. 2015 Upton Men’s Club Fireworks Festival

The Upton Men’s Club (UMC) annual Fireworks Festival is scheduled for Saturday June 20, 2015.  Last year the event brought in over 5000 people who enjoyed the shows, attractions, and of course an outstanding fireworks display. The year's events will take place from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. at Blackstone Valley Tech located on Pleasant Street in Upton. Rain date is June 21. The Fireworks Display is funded 100% by donations.
