Update: Rusty returned home last night, his owner thanks everyone for sharing and for their concerns.
A recently adopted dog got away from his owner today, 07/07/15. He was lost near Richardson Street in Uxbridge. Rusty is a retriever, lab, terrier mix; tan/white, is about 6 months old and is cute as a button.
Rusty is a new name for this pup, he was formally known as “Rocky” and may answer to either name. .
Rusty got spooked this morning and ran in the direction of the high tension wires. His owner, Jennifer, said she has looked up and down all the roads in the area and walked miles looking for him in the woods this evening.
Sadly there have been no sightings since Rusty went missing this morning.
The family has contacted surrounding area Police, Animal Control Officers, MASS Lost Dogs and various social media outlets. “Rusty ” is very shy so PLEASE DO NOT approach, he will run.
