Finishing touches to the Town Hall have been completed over the past several months, with 80 historical images of Upton now adorning the walls.
The Board of Selectmen encourages you to visit and view imagery of the founding origins of Upton. Images represent industrial and cultural history while connecting of past and present. The work of several Upton photographers can also be viewed. Their works reflect the natural beauty of the area and complement the historical images.
This project was funded by the Risteen Beautification Trust Fund and endorsed by the Board of Selectmen at their March 3, 2015 meeting. Special thanks to Norman Ringdahl of the Prints and the Potter Gallery for his guidance and expertise, as well as Tom Bair and Barbara Burke at the Upton Historical Society for sharing their knowledge and locating the images.
