Medway 8th Grader Asks Community to Donate Items as Part of Capstone Project

John Demartinis, an 8th grade student attending the Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School, asked if Upton Daily would publish information regarding his Capstone project. He is a Medway resident and although this is out of Upton Daily’s news coverage area it seemed like a good cause.

If you live in the Medway area you can help by dropping donations off at Russo Insurance Agency, Starbucks, Medway Yoga, Medway Cleaners, Curves, Anne Market, Medway Karakate,Little Gym,  and The Muffin House; all located in Medway.  All of the shops located in the Ocean State Plaza are also accepting donated items.  Donation checks can be mailed to the MEDWAY VILLAGE CHURCH FOOD PANTRY, 170 Village Street, Medway, MA  02053.

 My name is John Demartinis and I am in 8th grade attending the Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School. In Support of the Medway Village Church food pantry I have organized a donation drive in Medway  from September 1 to November 1. This is my Capstone project, I must complete this project to pass the 8th grade. I am a Medway resident. 

Items needed for drive:

• Shampoo

• Napkins

• Soap

• Napkins

• Paper Towels

• Toothpaste

• Toilet paper

• Tissues

• Caned goods

• Boxed goods.

• Jelly

• Tomato sauce spaghetti O’s and chicken soup.

And anything else that you can donate would be greatly appreciated
