United We Sk8 is holding Fundraiser for their program which teaches children with special needs how to skate and play hockey in an inclusive program using curriculum designed for their needs. The program is completely free to families and includes all jerseys, equipment, skates, and ice time which are paid for strictly through fundraising and donations from local vendors. All instructors on the ice volunteer their time.
A way you can support this program is by participating in their raffle fundraising. Raffle tickets can be purchased by visiting Blackstone Valley Ice Plex, 121 Plain Street, Hopedale on Sunday, November 8 between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. For additional information about the fundraiser or to purchase raffle tickets call Cristina Goncalves Yakimowsky 508-667-4726. at 4:30.
