Online Registration for Youth Boys and Girls 2016 Spring Lacrosse is NOW OPEN through December 15th. Girls grades 3-8, Boys grades K – 8.
REGISTER EARLY. Team caps are set and players will be wait listed until another team roster is filled. We make our best effort to place everyone on a team, but this is not always possible.
Boys U11 through U15 purchase their own uniforms. This custom sublimated 3-piece uniform is yours to keep and can be reused next season.
U13 and U15 will have the option to participate in the MBYLL Select league. This will be a separate registration and possibly a tryout required.
Click the Register Online tab on the left. Your child must have active US Lacrosse Membership through the season for insurance purposes. i.e. You must complete BOTH the US Lacrosse ($25) and the Nipmuc Lacrosse registration, the registration process will automatically guide you through this.
This is typically a 3 day/week commitment once we’re outside on the fields. Schedule specifics will be available in late February. Indoor practice 1x/week will start in March. From April though mid June anticipate 3 days/week; weekday practice, Saturday practice and Sunday game.
The registration system will fill out the roster spots for teams and then waitlist players until another team is completed. We try to accommodate everyone that signs up during the open registration period. Late registrations will only be accepted if we can accommodate the players.
MBYLL Classic is an instructional and ‘non-competitive’ league requiring balanced teams and equal playing time. Games are played to win but there are no league standings. Detailed rules can be found on our website. The MBYLL is the largest youth lacrosse league in the country and sponsors the world’s largest youth lacrosse jamboree every June.
MBYLL Select is available for ‘select’ level of play for boys U15 and U13. There is no equal playing time rule and league standings are kept. There will be a separate registration and tryouts if needed for these teams. Players must play in MBYLL Classic to be eligible for MBYLL Select.
