Margaret C. (Desmarais) Johnson, 82, of Upton, died late Saturday, November 21, 2015 in St. Camillus Health Center in Northbridge after an illness. Her husband of 60 years, Herbert L. Johnson, died in 2012.Mrs. Johnson was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Armand and Marian C. (Piotrowski) Desmarais. A graduate of the former Mendon High School, she was a homemaker who lived in Upton since 1969.
She leaves two sons, Stephen Johnson of Phoenix, AZ, and Paul Johnson and his wife Jean of Barre; a daughter, Mary Cousineau and her husband Jonathan of Mendon; a brother, John Desmarais and his wife Florence of Uxbridge; and six grandchildren, Colin and Vasu Johnson, Eric and Jason Cousineau, and Lauren and Jeremy Johnson.
Private graveside services will be held in Lakeview Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
