Two Miscoe Hill Students are collecting for a local Mendon Family going through a difficult time this holiday season. Elicia Newton and Julia Stewart are hoping you can find it in your hearts to help out this family. They do have permission from the family to share the information below.
HOFF FAMILY HOLIDAY TO REMEMBER
Hello, our names are Elicia Newton and Julia Stewart and we are hoping to make this holiday season a memorable one for a local Mendon Family this year. We will be taking collections for the HOFF FAMILY and would greatly appreciate any/all donations.
The Family Dynamics: Dad, Mom, Daughter (14yrs) NIPMUC, Daughter (11yrs) MISCOE and Son (5yrs) CLOUGH.
Brief Synopsis: The mom has been sick for over two years. She currently flies out-of-state monthly for treatments. There has been no improvement in her condition as of yet. The mom’s medical condition leaves her physically exhausted and most of the time unable to do the things she could in the past, cook, clean, transport the kids, etc. The dad has taken on all the responsibilities of the family and the role of caretaker of his wife. As a result of the mom’s medical condition, this family is now in the process of incurring additional costs as they are looking for a nanny to help them out for 3-4 hours each day.

Monetary donations (for school high school band trip, medical bills, prescriptions, travel expenses, and maybe even a small family vacation to brighten up the spirit of this family during this difficult time)
