Strong Winds Knock Out Power

national gridNational Grid is reporting  scattered power outages throughout Upton. The largest area affected is affecting  over 100 residents.

According to National Grid crews are working around the clock to restore service to customers who lost power due to last night’s storm. As high winds continue today, National Grid reminds customers to stay away from downed power lines and report them to National Grid or authorities immediately. If you are operating a generator, be sure to operate it outdoors only.

Power is expected to be restored to most between 12:30 and 3:00 p.m. today.
